Corky Posted 26 August 2023 Posted 26 August 2023 West Ham were dreadful in the league last year, 14th with that squad is awful.
Zear0 Posted 26 August 2023 Posted 26 August 2023 Seems to happen quite often. Antonio will carry them to Christmas, then get injured and they'll slide back down. 1
The Bear Posted 26 August 2023 Posted 26 August 2023 Brighton were poor defsivley against us last week as well. About time they got what they Di Zerbed..... #hereallweek

West Ham were actually successful in Europe last season and could legitimately be excused for a poor League campaign.
The Bear Posted 26 August 2023 Posted 26 August 2023 (edited) Sa pulled off this worldie save against Doucore. His face is great! Edited 26 August 2023 by The Bear 2

Even with Europe, West Ham have a top half squad.

CrispinLA in Texas Posted 26 August 2023 Posted 26 August 2023 2 great saves from the Hammers keeper, both could have been goals. Areola been great for them since they only bought him last year

A losing mentality or lack of ambition is seldom shaken off quickly.

Md9 Posted 26 August 2023 Posted 26 August 2023 Imagine as a spurs fan all the big teams have a shocker of a season and they get beat to first place by West Ham 😂( I know it’s only 3 games in)

Our “success” in Europe was down to us failing in a group stage that contained two awful sides in Spartak Moscow and Legia West Ham at least won the conference league from the start not entering because of failure 2

Wymsey Posted 27 August 2023 Posted 27 August 2023 Reckon the officiating has been worse since VAR was introduced. 1

cruzFOX Posted 27 August 2023 Posted 27 August 2023 De zerbi got his clock cleaned by moyesy in the day. They went with plan A and nothing else and hammers just sat back and hit them on the break. It was a masterclass in counter attack kinda like us in 2016. Have to give credit where credit is due.
cruzFOX Posted 27 August 2023 Posted 27 August 2023 I see madders is having a lotta fun at spuds. Good for him! 2
CosbehFox Posted 27 August 2023 Posted 27 August 2023 Forest putting a compliant about the ref again. That’s about the fourth occasion in their season and a month they’ve done that

hebangsthedrums Posted 27 August 2023 Posted 27 August 2023 Hope Forest's luck has run out this year - their 2 goals yesterday were v lucky and nearly propelled them to a draw
