They did well last season but the answer is Chansiri. A Wednesday supporter I work with says he just destroyed all the good will and morale from promotion but sacking Darren Moore and hiring one of Watford’s merry go round managers. Promoted teams often rely upon that momentum (like Ipswich) but Wednesday lost that and with an under par squad to boot. Recipe for disaster!

Despite the goals, thought Sunderland have actually been quite wasteful up front at times..

Mowbray has looked frustrated a couple of times.

We aren't due to play Sheffield Wednesday til the end of November.

 

They will have long since sacked their manager and tightened up by then.

Clarke is a dangerous player. Nice to see someone who didn’t quite succeed at the bigger clubs restart his career and do quite well. Might’ve been a Leicester signing of old!
