Realisation of Championship Football

Things that you took for granted or didn't think about until this week given our relegation. A few to kick us off...

 

• Stsrting a new game of Football Manager with Leicester in the Championship, might actually be an enjoyable challenge
• Not bothering to watch MoTD anymore
• No stupid PL music at the start of a game
• Which channel are EFL highlights on?
• Not jinxing Leicester players by sticking them in your FPL team

Lack of players out on international duty. Potentially having a fit squad

Winning the Champions League in 5 years, and saying “we were in Championship only 4 years ago”.

A break from people who are clearly Manchester United/City, Chelsea, Arsenal or Liverpool fans getting their hands on tickets in the home sections. 

 

Worse still - those fans somehow getting their hands on season tickets so they can 'go to the big games'.

Championship and L1 seasons - we had no end of kids and young lads wearing Top 6 shirts in the Kop.

The first M69 derby in 11 years. Least we'll be given at 4k tickets at CBS. Ain't forgot that day they gave us 6k tickets

Actually opposite from me. I’m looking forward to watching it again as I’ve avoided it for most of this season.

You just know they'll win though. It's like when we played Forest after ages. Heck even Derby got a draw out of us in that FA Cup tie while we were Champions

Like previous people have said, FM will be fun. Just wish there was an option to start from now before any new players are signed or sold and do the rebuild yourself.

What’s the situation with away tickets? I have enough points but can I buy 2 tickets now for me

and someone else? Will there be any ID checks or names on tickets? I’ve not really been able to go to any prem aways for years and unsure what will be different in the championship.

I think it will be terrible and I don't think anyone can pretend they're loving life – but seeing some of the names we're being linked with, as well as players finally leaving us after 18 months of abject misery, is starting to feel quite cleansing.

I get that tbf.

 

Seeing us linked with exciting young players doing it in the Championship is a welcome tonic given we'd probably have turned up our noses at them 12 months ago because they were too much of a risk.
