I don't "dislike" any of the players. There's several I don't rate and they've been mentioned already.

 

However, I genuinely dislike Rodgers.

 

He's the one who made the meaningless post-match statements and took his gripes out on the club, not to mention his limited managerial skills.

 

His arrogance, his stubbornness, his fall out with Schmeichel and Soy, his refusal to play to our strengths.

 

Players will go elsewhere and so will he. But, he's the **** who did this to us.

I don’t hate players. You can’t blame them for accepting money they’re not really worth.

 

Assou-Ekotto was open about not liking football, or having any interest in it (other than money).

 

Unfortunately, that is true for many - which is hard for fans to understand.

I don't rate Amartey or Daka but I don't dislike him. They both seem more likeable the those I've mentioned above.

It’s galling for fans to see players trotting about like apathetic leeches in neon boots, but it’s just a job to them.

 

I remember Peter Crouch talking about a player who played for Aston Villa (can’t remember his name) and he was open about the fact he DID NOT like football, or have ANY interest in it. He just happened to have enough skill and physicality to do it professionally, like an athlete. It was just a job to him, nothing more.

 

I get the impression that is case for many.

I think that player was Assou -Ekotto, at spurs with Crouch. I remember hearing that about him.

he was the best of the bunch but everyone has room to improve if that’s what you mean. I don’t see in anyway shape or form that he is responsible for us going down. I mean, the flip side of that coin is that he’s the reason we didn’t finish dead bottom…

I believe he must be describing Soumaré. Bertrand's appearances were like seeing sheep up Snowdon on a foggy day after a heavy snowfall. Completely invisible.
