We all thought we were getting the 3 muskateers.

We ended up with a Po short of a full set of teletubbies. Guess who was Tinkywinky.

Wish them best of luck in the future. They came here and tried but couldn't get us over the line, albeit only by 2 points. I have no ill feelings towards them and they at least gave us hope of staying up until the final game.

Good luck to three amigos, they did their best and if we weren't flirting with Jesse Marsch for a week they'd probably have pulled off another great escape.

I had a nightmare with a press release today so I feel in good company now

If they had a few more games and an international break we'd have stayed up imo. Our board was indecisive and his record is still better this season per game then Brendan, including games against Man City, Liverpool and Newcastle. The game against Fulham was the major disappointment.

There was also a lot of easy games

He didn't lose any and whilst I agree we could have done better, both Leeds and Everton will feel the same way.

My point was when people say he had a better points total that the other nob, statistically we had a easier run in as per the Opta stats

so if its a easier run in then the harder fixtures have been played.

Hard to compare the 2 on ppg

Worries me big time that they haven’t said thanks to Stowell and Saddler yet

I wouldn't worry too much about Stowell, when there's a manager there his job is to open a folder with instructions on it and say do this.

Just think they need to have a complete clear down, refresh and re-set

Stowell is as loved as Rudkin by those above. Get the feeling the club ask that he's kept whenever they appoint anyone. He even survived Rodgers and he didn't seem to like anyone.

Imagine him to be a yes man. Has as much to blame on the relegation as anyone. Ward cost is massively over the season. Stowell should have been recommending a change from game 10!

So many have benefited massively from the rise under Pearson and the title win. Schmeichel being the pro he was and improving so much would have looked very good on Stowell. I can think of 10 Goalkeepers off the top of my head who were absolute dogshit under Stowell. Think we had about 5 in that League One season.

An announcement on the Club’s next permanent manager will be made in due course.

Due course was 1 minute later.

I’m glad the club thanked Smith, but they may as well have done it in the same statement as appointing Maresca
