Interesting. Suggests 1 of Vardy, Daka or Iheanacho are on the way out if this link is true.

I would personally be sticking with Iheanacho and Daka as our starters and invest our money elsewhere this summer.

However, if we are intent on a new striker, this guy ticks a lot of boxes (depending on the fee!)

He has a year left I think, so I’d probably say between 7-10mil perhaps

Creative yet has 22 and 19 goals in his last two seasons for an average side, aged only 23. This is more like it. Been linked for a while to him so makes sense now we're in the league.

The only downer on this is it does mean Iheanacho's almost certainly off.

My thoughts exactly. Hate to lose Iheanacho but you can’t do much better than Piroe in this division.

Hopefully he was impressed with what he saw of the facilities when Swansea trained at Seagrave back in April :fc:

You wonder if that was done to start to sweeten things up for this move

You would have to assume if he comes in then Iheanacho is probably off which is a shame but he'd be a good replacement. Nice as well to have someone who is a threat from outside the box with Maddison and Tielemans gone.

And then a Piroe comes along
With the strength to carry on
And you cast your fears aside
And you know you can survive
So when you feel like hope is gone
Look inside you and be strong
And you'll finally see the truth
That a Piroe lies in you

Genius - get it going at Northampton (subject to signing the bugger of course)

Depends who we're losing up front, Piroe would at least push for the first XI immediately.

As a prospect(project Vardy 2.0), Langstaff at Notts County would be worth picking up too.

If its piroe in, with vardy and as talked about we're trying to promote Amari Richards straight to senior level, I wonder if both Kele and Daka are off

And don't forget George Hirst of course :nigel:
