Love the fact that he says he's often mistaken for Joey Gudjonnsen by fans ...then the article later goes on to refer to him as Joey!

He stood out as a decent player in a bunch of absolute dross. I shudder at most the names these articles remember.

I remember going to kettering in pre-season with my dad and James stood out like a sore thumb... so much better than anyone on the pitch (we did only play youth and reserves) really thought he was going to break through and be our next hero but then that scumbag from celtic fofana'd him. 

 

Always wondered how good he might have been if that never happened. 

 

Dont really want to say it out loud but I hope its not a similar story for Alves

Utterly awful period in the club's recent history. JW had real potential but he played alongside utter dross and usually with at least one broken bone.

I often think how can you smoke 20 fags per day for years and years and still be alive (like my next door neighbour).

Used to see him running around Western Park when I was in my early teens. Just shows, whatever level of football, if they play for your local team, they’re a superstar in your eyes when growing up.

It was in the program when they had features about the players home lives for some reason. God knows why you'd admit to the entire fan base you read this hellscape
