Me too, think he’s played in that position for us before and did okay as well. If he can stay fit then surely the best option. Can be a bit sloppy defensively at times but with the right coaching I think he’d be even more comfortable at this level.

Winks at DM and a creative 8/10 alongside KDH, not Praet

 

Hermansen sounds 99% done as well so him ahead of Iversen

I said in another thread that watching Faes sprint is painful - It’s like he’s going backwards.

 

You get to watch it a lot as well as he’s constantly caught out of position.

 

Not sure Souttar is quicker but I’d be surprised if he wasn’t!

On the basis of his passing against Northampton, I'd start Faes on the bench. He made some puzzling passes and just looked a bit indecisive at times.

Not JJ, he’s weak under a high ball and in that position, in this league, would be quickly exposed.

Yes I genuinely can't see him ousting Faes or Souttar, certainly not to start with. That's not to say he won't progress and provide competition.
