Hardly a surprise Chelsea are more interested in working on a 100m deal for a first-teamer, than rushing to help us out.

We are much further down the food chain then some people think.

Pochettino has probably not given it a thought. They have so many players.

His debut was away at Stoke. He came on at the start of the second half and was immediately a class above and ran the the game. Everyone around us was saying the same things……….wow, quality, bossing, leading, etc etc.

We won 1 nil and everyone knew we had a class player on our hands

Just realised why I thought it took him a few games. The first game that I remembered seeing him and go wow was the 5-3 against Man U which I knew was a few games into the season. I forgot that he debut wasn't until stoke which obviously was only the game before

what's going on with Liverpool and Chelsea. Caicedo is on the way to Liverpool, Chelsea hjack the convoy and get him to Stamford Bridge on more money. Lavia deal agreed with Liverpool, Chelsea hijack the deal at the last minute. There HAS to be an FFP issue with a club spending £1bn on players in 12 months or the whole thing is ****ED.

but, RIchard Masters is no way going to ping clubs for splashing the cash now though, or we may as well hand the Prem and Champs League to the Saudi's and join the back of the queue.

It's entirely inevitable anyway. It will 100% be Al Hilal vs Real Madrid in the Champs League soon, unless they vote through the European Super League in order to create a bigger block with budgets and income to rival the Saudi's.

Agree with most but pretty sure Al Hilal won’t be playing in the champions league!

Just a reminder that it’s the UEFA champions league… Al Hilal won’t be joining it any time soon…

Will happen before we know it. If not then it'll be liquidated and reformed as a Suadi backed super league that even the biggest teams can't turn down.

Agree not in its current format but with the intention of FIFA to increase the Club World Cup to 24 or 32 teams and that ends up being more lucrative financially, I can see it being a real possibility that replaces the Champions League as the thing to win.

If I could "relax and be patient" it'd make me a pretty poor pimp.

Being impatient and reactionary is what keeps me at the top of the pimp game.

Just because it's UEFA doesn't exclude Saudi teams from taking part - money talks here. Ever heard Australia's entries in the EUROvision Song Contest? If your pockets are deep enough, nothing is off limits in this crazy corrupt world.

it’s possible they will try again with a super league but those joining the super league will run the risk of being thrown out of their domestic leagues.. we shall see- but fan power played a massive part last time around  with the downfall of the plans..

Love all this crazy talk

FIFA wouldn't allow cross-participation because that would devalue the individual continents and their unions. Besides the Saudis have no interest in putting their teams in foreign tournaments, they're all about making themselves the focus not piggy backing into European fixtures. Eurovision isn't even comparable, it's a twobit karaoke gig not a multi-billion $ media frenzy.

Plus their reformed Club World Cup has probably been created with this in mind so that we do see Al Nassr Vs Man City.

So, back on topic.... it does appear that Chelsea want to get a midfielder in through the door of their own gaff, before letting CC be named as on loan to us. Do we concure?

Just pick up on the Australia thing… they qualify for Eurovision because they are part of the BBC network as are Israel.

Appears exactly what it is, which we have known more or less prior to them going on tour. Yes he’s not a Cdm but he’s a central midfielder something they are light on. I don’t understand why so many on here have struggled to wrap their head around that.

cool

They don't really play the same positions and I don't reckon Chelsea need to hold him back from joining us as they are shopping for any world player they want.

You're talking about FIFA and the Saudi's. I wouldn't trust either of them as far as I could throw them.

A few brown envelopes and a promise to invest £XBn in FIFA and anything is possible.
