If we're struggling to get a decent fee for praet then he's probably good enough at this level to be first choice. A year loan for a homesick player who struggled to adjust to the Championship last year was always a risk, this could be a blessing in disguise.

We have spent roughly, 29m and brought in 80m, so roughly bank 50m.

 

When you consider we got 106m in PL money last season and will get around 50m in parachute payment. We are going to need a chuck of the money brought in to fill the hole.

United after him, Ten Hag is widely publicised as liking him. Would probably cost north of £10m, same issue as Hamer imo. As noted above, there is a reason we are going for loans in 2 key positions, instead of buying.
