His Agent is hawking him around every league in Europe and not a single offer where he remains on the same financial terms

Some interest if he takes a pay cut which surprise surprise he is unwilling to take

Outside chance that once the window closes and he is still here then he will knuckle down but I wouldn't bank on it

Source?

Don't see Winks going abroad with some windows still open.

I think he is stuck here until January and likely until the Summer too.

It will be interesting to see if Marti throws him into the starting 11 and we see him over his sulk.

I don't like his behaviour, but part of me is happy we still have him as an option.

Dont understand whats upset him so much? Is it just he wants to be nearer to london? When he signed for us we were a championship club and we are again so he’ll be on the same wage etc he initally signed

I’d like to see him knuckle down for the last year of his contract, give us one last good season and then go separate ways at the end of it. He’s too good at this level to be rotting away especially for the money he is on.

Agreed, if Marti can get his attitude right, he is an asset at this level we know that.

It’s a very different dynamic now that the window has closed and we have more options in midfield - yes he is paid a wedge but he doesn’t just walk into the team now

He also needs to show some sort of professionalism for his next move (if he wants terms anything like what he is in now),

We need to park whatever the issue is and get him back on the pitch.

Agreed.

Soumare and Skipp are an absolute waste of space and yet should be killing it at this level.

He was jumping out of challenges against Charlton, shouldn’t even be on the bench. With his contract running down, he’s gone into self preservation mode.

He's still by far our best midfielder and it's not even close.

Neither has Rodri, he’s still a better player

You're making a correlation between Rodri, a Ballon d'or winner, and Justin James, who we just got on loan with an option to buy for about £4m. Behave.

JJ might end up being better, but there's no evidence of that yet. Let's maybe wait until he's actually played. It might be they end up playing as a pair.

Winks at this level is absurdly good.

Well I’m not, I’m making a comparison between Jordan James and harry winks, who is decent at this level but is hardly an outrageous shout

Look, he might be great - but Winks is instrumental to us right now. It's no surprise practically everything goes through him.
