I honestly think this guy just doesn't want to play football.  He's like a kid who has been forced to play and wanted to impress his dad or something.  Now he's made it as a pro, he doesn't actually like the sport and is happy to drift, putting in the minimum amount of effort to get paid something.

 

He's the lazy guy that everyone knows at work who absolutely steals a living with zero output and is carried by everyone else.

I can’t find the tweet now, but saw on X a discussion from Greece saying he was massively unfit when he got to them and he’s been put on an individual fitness programme, expected to be up to train with the group by October

Honestly think he sees out his contract with us and heads back to Denmark for the rest of his career. I really thought there was something about him when he first arrived, and I worry if he's been a victim of our decline in a way as he joined into a shit situation, very young, with huge expectations on him. Not to downplay how bad he's been for us, but I do have a bit of sympathy for him.

Yep - I thought he had something to offer when he played in that game away at Villa. Genuinely seemed up for it. How wrong that turned out to be.

That spell where we picked up Vestergaard, Bertrand, Kristiansen, Soumare and Daka in the space of a couple of windows must go down as the worst piece of scouting and transfer work in this club's history.

I’ve never seen anything so n the bloke from

his debut to when he left us, that suggests he was worth paying an astronomical fee for. 
 

Luke Thomas / Victor Kirstiansen is a 50-50 split on who you would play if both fit at left back, as neither of them were ideal. We just didn’t pay £17m for one of them.

I know he had decent game time for Bologna, however they didn’t even bother with the €12m option.

Absolutely . Everyone involved should have been fired for the damage they caused . Comparable to the whole crowd of expensive duffers signed under moshiri at Everton
