I think next to Nelson with an actual footballer at left back and right back the defence would honestly look okay with him, don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t want him in the team if we had choices but we don’t.
 

He can’t play next to Thomas because Thomas gets bullied all game, ran past almost every time and vestegaard can’t cover the space.

 

The truth is, the system needs changed, the manager needs changed, the keeper needs changed, the majority of the back line needs changed and the striker needs changed.

 

We have decent wingers and some good midfielders (assuming we manage to sign James and skipp keeps up his recent upturn in form), but the rest of the club is an absolute shit show.

My fear is that it's either Winks and Vesteguard in the match day squad. We've not seen Winks for weeks then Vesteguard disappears and Winks is in the squad.

 

I really hope I'm wrong and we've secured him a move for money

Have there been any reports of Winks and Vestergaard not getting on? Because if not that’s a pretty speculative theory. And it would be a very odd move to drop a first choice central defender from the matchday squad to allow room on the bench for midfielder who has been frozen out for

months.

Did Andy King say why Vesty was missing? If he is off then if by a miracle Faes does not come back we are going to be in a much healthier place financially.....surely, this summer. If not then Rudkin really does need to answer some questions.

It’s very strange isn’t it. The atmosphere in that dressing room must be absolutely terrible.

Depsite the criticism, we missed him today. Plays out from the back better than anyone and we struggled without that.

I appreciate against Oxford it was a low bar but he was the only player that consistently passed forward
