He is the only one who seems to get into goal scoring positions regularly. All our other goals seem to have to be worldie shots!

Needs to finish the chance(s) yesterday and the other week. However he is by far the worst problem we have up top (imo).

I would be getting rid of useless dross like Mavididi way before i got rid of the manager.

Absolute rancid player.

I actually think this is harsh, especially when you consider his transfer fee.

He form is far too much linked to his confidence. When he was scoring he was over the top, and when its not working his shoulders drop and his head sinks.

But, yesterday (not including the missed chance) he was better than Monga had been starting (the game arguably cried out for Monga to come on when we were 1-0 down). He was getting into good positions and had a good shot deflected and one saved. He should have done better with that 1 on 1 with the keeper, but it was a decent save.

Like everywhere, it's not good enough and i don't think his head is at 50%, let alone anywhere near 80-90%. But I don't think he is Rancid at all.

Blackburn's man of the match yesterday.

Still like and believe in him but man he's fallen off a cliff.

I don't understand how you've got to this?

Kristiansen gave them the run of our left wing, both goals come from his poor defending. Carranza may as well have not been on the pitch, and Soumare constantly ran into trouble.

Yeah Kristiansen's performance yesterday made Luke Thomas look like Maldini last week.

Just a general takeaway that the disallowed goal and sitter would have changed the course of the game.

Agreed on Kristiansen for the second goal (I didn't see the first so can't comment).

I’d play Mavididi in the 9 role on Saturday. Given up on Daka, Carrenza and Ayew in that role.

Definitely wouldn’t play him in defence

My good he’s getting worse game by game

always out of position leaving an overload down that side

at least twice his silly flicks put us under pressure when he could have kept the ball and progressed us forward

I think the dominance of Enzo team hid the fact this guy is really a lower half champ playet at best

Absolute dross , so lazy , never looks like scoring :frusty:

On his performance today, 2 accurate statements, 1 extremely inaccurate. He was absolutely dire in terms of his quality today but he gets some leeway as he absolutely worked his socks off. Not sure how anyone could watch that and think different.

Monga got to be in for him now and given a run of games.

Completely useless and for me, he was our worse player. Kept giving the ball away, particularly at the end, when we needed to hold onto it and see the game out.

Mavididi has talent and gets into good positions but keeps making the same mistakes. He looks to me like a player that needs some coaching to develop his game & get to another level.

A manager/coach isn't just the guy who makes substitutions . He should be working one on one with the players to improve them.

Even when he’s awful I like that he doesn’t give up. One of the few that always wants the ball. He needs a couple of good goals to get going again but at least he’s trying. Sooner or later we have to get a game where both mav and fatawu are at their best. We haven’t had it all season

All our attackers need a coach badly and one that has tactics and defined roles.

They are all greedy but when they get close to shooting seem to be unable to make the decision and it breaks down. Too much self sabotage for whatever reason.

Mav skinned a couple of players got to the area and could’ve just blasted it but he had to slow it down for one more turn and wasted the chance.  Page got the ball on a break but Mav didn’t run into space, Page had plenty of space to shoot but squared it Mav and nothing happened. I wish Page just smashed it.

He isn’t a team player and too greedy, but that comes from having zero tactics and purpose drilled into them.

Ayew, Mav and Thomas on the left is sad.  Two hate passing and the other can’t wait to pass backwards.
