But it's not just that, his link up play is great. He suits this system and style of play so much more than Vardy or Daka. He can drop into those spaces to offer an outlet. Absolutely the player to build this team around.

What is really encouraging is that this shows this style of football is effective against teams that sit back and defend. Plenty of teams will try and do that against us this sesaon.

Can’t follow properly this as working but pleased to see Iheanacho score. If he’s not leaving he should play every game is available. Attitude isn’t something I’d be worried about.

I do wonder if this is the back 3 we will use against weaker opponents at times. Justin is capable of filling in at CB, has good recovery pace, and can be another player in the attacking third when we dominate

The recovery of lost balls is superb. The desire they show at those moments is such a joy after last season.

It's absolutely delightful to see such intent and a real focus on a system , after Rodgers destroyed our identity.

Love our ability to find space in various passing phases in our own half or in midfield. Always someone on offer to pass to, and it's not boring either.
