It's a good initial save, but it's happened a few times now where he doesn't seem to parry away from goal, today he got away with it. His attempt to save the goal was pretty shite as well

Just on the GK situation...why have we signed that Vietes? Not even made the bench. Is he injured or have I missed something?

Come January if we have the finances we could probably pick up Pierce Charles for £3-5m if Wednesday are still in trouble. Absolutely massive ceiling. 
 

Wanted him as much as I wanted Rohl. Jakub looks good enough for this level but Charles will go on to be a top 6 club keeper 100% imo.

Not seen him apart from when we played them but my lasting impression was that his kicking was awful.

Not sure he has a full pre season, I know he’s a keeper but might be the reason.

I think people are overreacting. He is a very young keeper and is learning his trade. If he was 28-30 years of age I’d agree then the criticism would be fair. Some posters said he was at fault for West Brom’s goal which was ridiculous.

The save from the free kick that he didn't hold on to towards the end of the game went right through the middle of our wall very low, so he he standing covering more of the other side of the goal. Like the Ayew brain fart in defence later in the 2nd half, its shocking defending. Was actually a decent save he made. Dont understand the pelters out for this guy.

It is but it's also our misfiring poor attack that is bailing out our defence after yet another defensive cock up. Frustrating.

Pushing the ball back into the danger zone yet again and we were lucky it didn't cost us this time. Still not convinced with him.

the club has no money, we won't be getting an upgrade on him so just get used to him; I don't think he's brilliant but I don't think he's awful for the championship

Context import with this one. The wall should have covered that side of the goal properly. The shot went straight through it at waist height.  Was actually an ok save.

Agree wholeheartedly.

 

Kasper is considered one of the best keepers that we’ve had but he also had a habit of occasionally parrying the ball into a dangerous position.

Still think he’s doing okay. Some issues with his handling and distribution, but he does pull off some good saves.

He needs to okay games and learn. Very young for a GK but I am happy we are going down the develop youth route.

My only issue over the last few games is that we have taken out some of the youth players (LP and others that have made the bench). If they had all been given minutes I would be totally happy at where we are.

He’s made 3 big errors leading to goals this season. Preston, Oxford and last night. Really seems to be struggling with his handling at the minute as well. He’s a great shot stopper but we need a bit more from him at the minute.

Didn't think he had much chance with the goal last night IMO. The flip side is that he gained us 3 points at Charlton.

htf you attribute the goal yesterday to him is beyond me. Our 2 CB's were utter dogsh1t.
