Did mine almost two years ago now

you just know it’s bad when it happens

hes lucky he has age on his side. Consultant told me if you were younger we’d operate but sadly… kick a man when he’s down!

How the f*ck do we have two players getting their ACLs done in the first 3 weeks of the season.

This one was assault. Stupid challenge on the keeper in the first 30 seconds when the keeper is claiming the ball.

Must be a curse under the ground. Fofana's ACL went at the KP. Ricardos also was at the KP, and James Justin's ACL was also done at the KP.

Add Ben Nelson to the above 3 and thats our entire backline with ACL injuries including the goalkeeper!

There's more than something to the idea that these threaded or woven pitches are causing issues.

It's not just with us.

Clubs should be made to go back to proper turf as its pissing around with players health. They're so common on these 'hybrid' pitches.

To be fair to Jakub he has had a rough time before this injury and had shown a bit of steel to lose his place and then win it back which impressed me.

So so sad for the guy, quite a rare injury for a keeper.

Should be investigated by the EFL. Disgraceful challenge.

Given a player got a 2 match ban for "deceiving officials" anything is possible.

The challenge should never happen, there's no need for it, it achieves nothing.

You can’t start giving post match punishments because of the unfortunate outcome of a nothing challenge

otherwise the game will become non contact

it was the kind of foul you see almost every game early on.
just terrible luck for player and club. (And the fans that have to watch MacArthy for the rest of the season)

We don’t actually know MaCarthy likes playing out from the back, Russell coaching I suspect, but either way he stopped us from dropping points last night with some fantastic saves…..can you imagine it on here if we had frittered the lead……

if Bobby Reid could finish his dinner we'd have been 4 - 0 up by the time McCarthy made those 2 or 3 saves.

The one from Braybrooke's pass was unforgivable. Could have hit it first time .had time to dink it and ****ed both options up. a terrible option up front. Should have had 5 goals this season already.

When you’re getting this many ACL injuries you need to start looking at the fundamentals, match pitch, training pitches, training itself and the machines used for leg strengthening in particular. It’s not good enough to brush it off as bad luck, it’s not.
