All this speculation about other clubs nabbing him, is based on the fact that Man City want to sell. Although they might consider a sale (for the £15m reported), they might just as likely decide to keep him and only loan him out this season. In which case, a loan to another PL club, is far less likely than one to a Championship club. If so, we must be near the top of the queue, if not the prime candidate. I believe he is heading into the last year of his contract so Man C will want a sale unless he extends. 1
Popular Post BKLFox Posted 27 August 2023 Popular Post Posted 27 August 2023 Hopefully we get enough from Fulham for Timmy and can get THB in on a perm then secure a deal for Doyle end of season if we get promoted. THB and Doyle either side of Coady, that’ll do. 8

splinterdream Posted 27 August 2023 Posted 27 August 2023 Cmon leicester, get the cheque book out ffs. We need to dominate this league

Hmmm well according to here they've spent over 100m https://www.footballtransfers.com/en/teams/uk/burnley/transfers So why hasn't he top of the list if he's that good. 1
Pliskin Posted 27 August 2023 Posted 27 August 2023 He will pick us over Forest…. Their future is bleak considering their owner’s closet is bursting with skeletons…… even sweeter when they go down and end up in a complete financial shit fest. 1

He’ll go for Premier League football even if it’s just for a season.

I think they were put off of paying £15m for him when he only had 1 year left on his deal, and Man City also wanted a buy back of just £35m for him as well
STUHILL Posted 27 August 2023 Posted 27 August 2023 This is just my opinion, but I think a deal for THB has been agreed in principle, and he is happy to join us, however, we are waiting for a player or two to leave first. 3

Yep, agree. Makes no sense him lingering at Man City. 1
Gazza M Posted 27 August 2023 Posted 27 August 2023 Don't need him. A striker and we are sorted for now until Jan. It's the 6 or 7 players out still that is the priority for me.
