Remember when people would week in week out slag off Harvey Barnes?

It's the same thing. McAteer offered some creativity when he came on against Palace, yes it was different today but these players always get the flak.

To be fair, Harvey is a hundred times the player Kasey is

Mcateer gets the flack because he is miles away from the standard we require. League one at best

He is, I wasn't comparing the two.

He's a young lad who came into the squad out of nowhere last season. I think the fanbase could cut him some slack, especially as he's through the Academy. (Lets face it, with Fatawu in the squad he doesn't get much of a look in to start)

Couldn't give two fvck's where he's from.

He's 23 years old, not 17 just breaking through.

Like others have said, he wouldn't stand out in league 1.

He puts an end to our attacks more than opposition defenders do.

Kasey McAteer is not a Premier League player. Full stop.

This is emblematic of everything that is wrong about Leicester City FC that a player of such obvious limitations is playing in the Premier League. Not the guys fault but demonstrates how far we’ve fallen.

Not the lads fault.

Came through the ranks and gets to play first team football for us, must be a dream come true for him.

Is he really good enough, perhaps not but the problem is not with him but those higher up who really should not be in the positions they are in.

He’s an average championship winger.

Perez was 10 times the player but got 100 times the stick that Kasey gets.

Cost is a factor there.  Like it is with Skipp presently.

Perez cost £30m more than MacAteer and just as hopeless.

Hes not a winger and hes not Premier league standard. Should of been out on loan this year. Feel Wanya would of offered us so much more in an attacking sense when we are down to the bare bones
