I’d imagine some of those changes are related to playing time and keeping people fit.

It is an obvious point, but compare and contrast to last season -- no subs allowed before 65 minutes, and even then the choice of subs was... questionable.

Hard to know what to make of those changes. Quite a big call to not give them at least 15-20 mins to sort it out. Unless the plan was always to bring off KDH and Winks (I'd imagine the other part of this plan was to be ahead at half time) to keep them fresh.

Souttar, Daka, Thomas, Soumare and maybe even Iversen, will all be gone by Friday. 
 

No point in getting them injured or cup tied and lower the value.
