Whilst it came across as a bit of a shock can we take a moment to appreciate the pride in Hamzas captaincy for him, his family and academy :appl:.


Whether it’s down to who’s been here longest or just what Enzo has seen of him in training alternatively  there was the option of Winks but not too many others, not sure what our two CBs leadership and communication is like still so fair play - Hamzas the man.

This is 100% the reason. I said it pre match, he will pick the player at 100% condition over 90-95%. 
 

If we press like last game, no one in this division can compete. 
 

Plus we have 5 subs. If all the starting XI do is tire out the opposition for Vardy and Mavididi to bag it still works out.

We’ve all been saying how good our depth is. Gotta use it when you play 3 in a week. No point them sat on their arses waiting for an injury.

Think people are forgetting that Faes has start 5 games and Nacho had start 4 and came on in to, so hardly big shock changes.

 

Hamza has been used a lot to close out games and knows the division.

I have unfortunately always felt Hamza is bobbins, but his best performances for me came when he was making do for us at the back in a couple of games. I'd love him to have found his place because this kind of makes sense despite being such a surprise. Hope he bosses it. Also with Winks, Cas and probably Yunus in the middle Choudhury will have a lot of defensive work to do. He had a decent cameo last time out.
