Think we will win, Bristol City seem a bit inconsistent and their owner has seemingly refused to push the club forward with any meaningful investment. Really hoping big Nige gets the legends welcome that he deserves as he comes home for a game.

It’s one of those games where if we turn up, the score line could be silly. We all know Nigel’s teams are fairly robust and functional, but…. With the quality thats in our team, this could end up being a cricket score……. We are going to really take someone to the cleaners this season, and it could well be tomorrow.

...it does feel that way, twice this season we scored and a minute later Mavididi was in to score with a good chance and he fluffed his lines!!!

It felt as if he had taken them we might have overwhelmed a team at that moment, but it never happened and we had to wait to secure the game. Bristol City's pace could be a problem.

Just watching the pre Bristol City training video, wtf are they doing through CDs at each other as some odd training regime?   lol

Enzo found Rodgers 'Teach yourself football management DVDs.' Players seemed to be having a right laugh tho, which is good.

He looked like a Sunday league player against Norwich!!... made Tielemans look fast!!

...wasn't there a possibility of him going elsewhere and deciding to come here was not his first choice!!!

Maresca has also said that he was not up to full fitness if I recall, so it would point to someone who has not as yet bought into this plan. The fact that Ndidid is keeping him out of the team, on merit, could spur him on to prove a point, but he seems to be content with not starting as he does not pull up any trees when he does come on.

It will be a good game becaue they play good football, they do organized attacks , a very  attack team style they have.

Start attacks with number 12. J. Knight.

17 Skyes -20 Bell good wingers. Skyes cuts inside, Bell crosses from zero.

From our left side Skyes making the ball hard crosses in front of the goal from the ground

27 opportunistic strikers.

They are doing surprise movement turns as  an whole team on the penalty area  in corners and

Their weakest points are direct through balls thrown between their defence. Defensive players cannot run back fast in counterattacks.

They are coming here off the back of a 4-1 mauling of Plymouth, very high pressing team, they will break in number with pace,  good on the road too and playing with a lot of confidence, they will be well up for this one.

Not sure they have a weaknes as such,, lots of energy in the middle, Vyner in defence is a rock, Naismith can start attacks from the back, their full backs are typical Nige players, will run themselves into the ground, we know all about James, Knight is a quality addition they made tbf. Weiman will start i expect, their talisman back from  injury. We should be thankful Tommy Conway is injured but Wells is always a goal threat.

Good game ahead, 2-2 i reckon

We need to be careful of Sam Bell and Sykes, both with stupid pace and both can finish.

*on Sam Bell, we should try and sign him.

I agree but for the here and present we have some decent wingers so let’s just send them home with their tails between their legs. Home win incoming.

                  Mads

    Faes, Vestergaard, Justin

            Hamza, Winks

McAteer, Ndidi, KDH, Mavididi

                     Vardy

I though Doyle had a good game against Norwich, but time to rotate him. From what i have heard these have pacy pressing attackers and i think they would look to exploit Doyle. Justin in for coping with that.

God this place is making me sick, let’s just put Nigel and King to one side for a second and remember Bristol aren’t Barcelona.

We should be taking these to the cleaners…. People talk about Bristol being up for this…. But Enzo will be too, he knows the connection between the two, he will want to win this just as much aa they will.

Nigel’s a good bloke, as are James and king, but all have their limitations, limitations that we should be exploiting. Their heroics are to be enjoyed as past achievements, but the future should be focusing on the future.

Any pleasantries should be saved until after the game, let’s focus on us for now please.

Hangover?

But agree. A nice clap for Nigel, then a pummeling asking Enzo for a wave, and then a nice clap for Nigel again.

Then let's get straight back up so he never comes back to the KP as an opposition manager (unless he wants another pummeling in the cup). No time for niceties beyond that.
