Agree, but his son was in the wrong. His pride gave the club no other option but to sack him. We should be thankful to both Pearson’s as on this event our world turned and we won the league. Wouldn’t have happened but for the son’s actions. Crazy isn’t it?!

His son was definitely wrong. And it was also nepotism as someone else said that he was at the club.

But, of all the sticks to beat someone with, slating him for not turning on his son is a weird take by some.

For how impressive NP's reign was and the great escape being an unbelievable achievement we were so poor for so long under Pearson that season! if anything he was lucky to still be in a job. We won 2 in 24 matches! respect to Vichai for keeping him in the job in the end but Christ he was lucky to still be about! Vichai is probably the only chairman in the league at the time that would have given him time to turn it around.

history will remember the trophies, 100 years time CR will be remembered as our most successful manager regardless of what others did before him.

when you look back at history you dont say well year looks at the England team in 1962 and say well they got to the quarters under Winterbottom so we have to give him some credit (even though they didn't qualify for the euro final in 64!)

Brendon will be remembered for bringing home our first FA especially after the loses in previous finals.

As i said he was impressive for us and did wonders at a strange time for the club but that's it. The love in some have is exaggerated.

International managers are different beasts with different drawn out time without players..

club managers, with club success, become club and often community favourites. Create club favourites within the squad

the bonds are totally different…

It’s  not about trophies,we were not historically a trophy winning club…Our aspirations and priorities  under KP & Pearson was

to build the club up as a whole, get the groups & parts in unison…and strive together for promotion, then consolidation into the

premiership…It was no coincidence that he and his staff did create the best all round support staff for club off-field,and for the heart of the club, the playing squad. What we discovered in the players support was unique, much so, some outsiders thought

it was illegal, just because of the systems unique success,in player recuperation..

Few managers reached that off-field combination that interfaced or fitted along with the playing staff…Outsiders like F1 wanted to create their own ideology along the success of Pearsons „unfinished Business“

Ranieri and his squad rode on the back of that in the title season, but that unplanned chemistry of  Pearsons science & Ranieri‘s

season planning with Ranieris experience and twists won the season..

Not forgetting the CLUB  who found that missing  quality rare blank  piece of the jigsaw..in Kante.

unique perfect storm of an unplanned ,coincidental crossing of ideas

two things..

# would Pearson have grasped the moment to win the league

# could Ranieri have grasped the moment, without Pearsons background work in player care & support..

# when Ranieri discarded and let the years of planning, dropped many of the B.room staff,it went down hill..

There within lies the reality…That title Earned rightly Ranieri the plaudits, but with most of Pearsons tenure gathering and building a player supportive system..mentally & physically.

He was a pivotal part of a midfield duo that won the championship with ease...

Also helped us stay up,  shame James picked up that injury when he did since he was playing so well with Cambiasso.

I will ever be grateful to Nigel Pearson for raising a son who thought it was acceptable to racially abuse Thai prostitutes and also to think it was okay to film it for all to see.

Without that event, the ‘impossible’ would never have been achieved, thanks to the magnificent man-management attributes of Claudio Ranieri, the manager who won the Premier League for our club.

It’s not turning on your son to say ‘sorry son - you ****ed up and the club have no choice but to sack you as a consequence of your actions. I hope you learn from it’.

Claudio also made great tactical decisions. It was a light touch here and there but which made ALL the difference.

To be fair to Pearson he was probably embarrassed by his lads actions. Maybe every parent has a moment where your kid deeply disappoints you.

Everything we have we owe to two men Nigel and The Boss

I know Pearson really liked the King Power ownership but I’d put him ahead of their involvement.

Sat here scratching my head as to what Springsteen had to do with our success and then it clicked.

I expect a full 90 min rendition of "there's only one Nigel Pearson". If not then you can f*** off and die!

Im not saying what he should or shouldn’t have done. Some parents would take one approach and some another. I’m simply saying it’s a strange thing to use as a stick to beat him with. That’s all.

Let's be real they wouldn't of sacked the lad if he was worth £20 mil, he was going to get released at some point anyway. He went to Barnet after getting sacked by us.

As the father of one of the girls, I agree.

Really looking forward to tomorrow.

Have Ufs done anything for it in terms of a tifo or a banner?

Got to love King Nigel, really hope he has success with Bristol.

Banner for King and met him and Nige last night.

It was a pleasure to see Leicester legend Nigel and his rigid soled box-fresh ice whites treading the hallowed turf of the KP again. His trainers are now so big that he needs crutches to move. Great to see him back.
