I’d defo looked to sell preat and bring an 8 on an option to buy loan with a view to them being suitable for us potentially in the prem

Potential targets if we get promoted are easy but for the Championship, looking around, realistic targets look very sparse.

The options in that position are very limited. Bashir Humphreys from Chelsea would be ideal but he's at Swansea on loan and can't see them flipping him to us for the sake of it. Perhaps Malang Sarr for 6 months could be realistic.

 

I'm quite surprised Ben Nelson hasn't been considered for that role but he needs a loan if not, and it would be pointless for us to scour PL2 for a replacement as they'd come with similar inexperience as Nelson.

 

I really rate Oliver Sorensen at FC Midtjylland but he's probably wasted at LCB as he's quality in midfield.

Nice, thanks! Jacob Greaves has been on my list for a while, as I think he'd be ideal. I think we were linked with him either in January or this summer, too? So maybe already has some legs in it.

He’s been linked a couple of times in recent years hasn’t he, thought we may have got him last season but he ended up signing a new contract. 
 

Doubt he’d be attainable in January, can’t see Hull selling to a rival, plus they’d probably want around £15 million, definitely one if we do get promoted.

Agree re. Nelson. He won't get out on loan though unless he signs a new contract before January. The club won't want him in the shop window if he's not tied down.
