Funny to hear what a load of haters we have as a fan base. He’s representing a country that has got zero players in any kind of decent league. He’s the first and Leicester is culturally diverse. If you can’t celebrate that then you’re a very sad Leicester fan. Saying you don’t give a shit about something because it’s not England when 70% of prem players are foreigners. Your team is made up of other nationalities. He will singlehandedly inspire a generation with three times the population of England. As alluded to by someone else earlier his champ stats, where he started most games were easily the best in the league. Better than our ‘prem’ standard players. You categorically cannot do that unless you are a good footballer. Sorry if you disagree with that point you’re either ignorant, in denial or just a hater - maybe have a look at the stats again and think about your how it hurts. He rarely plays whilst Leicester are getting annihilated in the prem, please tell me why a handful of players receive so much criticism when our so called stars are ran circles around week in week out in the prem.

Played well today, was not the substitution we needed but he looked to play forward and played with a bit of urgancy.

Probably needs to start at RB as Justin needs to be taken out of the firing line.

Grafted today and looked okay but he’s no where near Premier League standard. Shouldn’t be anywhere near our squad but sort of highlights the depths we’ve sunk to.

He needs to start over Justin better defender, more of a threat going forward and has the engine to play the hybrid role.

He is not the answer ffs he is just as shite possibly worse

Here goes the cycle again of Hamza not being an utter calamity for the 10 minutes he got on the pitch and people instantly falling over themselves to call for him to start.

No, he's not the solution.

This.

Genuinely frightening that people do this every now and then.

Not only is he a plonker of a footballer, he’s an ars*h*le off the pitch too.

I think Hamza is shite but I can’t accept there is a worse player at the club than Justin atm. His confidence is on the floor and he’s making huge mistakes every single game, we can’t risk playing him. I just hope we can find someone in January to play there.

how many more mistakes from Justin before we try something different, Ideally we sign a top class RB but I will be surprised if we sign anyone.

Easy to come on when you are losing 3-0, what ever the question is Hamza isn't the answer.

Drain the swamp........

Much more difficult when losing 2-0 though!

I like Hamza, but the barrage on social media since he declared for Bangladesh has me ready to accept the first bid that comes in for him. If you put the Mahrez and Daka fanboys in a blender, you'd get the Bangladeshi ones that have suddenly discovered he exists in the last two weeks. lol

Not quite sure of the relevance of Hamza off the pitch is. It’s genuinely frightening that people can’t see that Justin is currently a massive problem for us. He’s not confident to attack or defend and he treats the ball like a hot potato. However painful it is for people to accept, Hamza played well today and is currently a better option than JJ with Ricardo injured. I personally hope that Hamza starts at RB against Villa.

Played well. Three grey crosses.

Poor JJ is absolutely shot ATM. Hamza is quicker, is cockier and more tenacious

3? The cut back was great (where nobody pulled back to) but the one that was flashed across was massively overhit when you actually watched the replay.

Justin has been so poor but the pelters he'd have gotten for the second goal if he'd completely stood off like Hamza. Dreadful defending.

Congratulations Choudhury your officially the best player in Bangladesh   :scarf:

Leicester Star to Become First Bangladeshi in Premier League
By: Cokorda Krishna Sadhana, December 31, 2024 11:05 am

Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury has officially been cleared by FIFA to play for the Bangladesh national football team.

Born in Loughborough, the 27-year-old previously represented England at the U-21 level, earning seven caps. However, his eligibility to represent Bangladesh comes through his family heritage.

This development marks a historic moment, as Choudhury is the first Premier League player to join the ranks of the Bangladesh national team, which is currently ranked 185th in the FIFA world rankings.

Choudhury expressed his excitement over the decision, saying, as quoted from BBC Sport, “I’m so happy everything is over the line and I can’t wait to be playing for Bangladesh.”

The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) confirmed the move, highlighting that FIFA’s Player Status Chamber of the Football Tribunal approved Choudhury’s eligibility.

Since making his senior debut for Leicester City in 2017, Choudhury has made 89 league appearances and was part of the team that clinched the club’s first-ever FA Cup title in 2021.

Notably, Choudhury stands out as the only active British Asian footballer in the Premier League. Another player of similar background, Arjan Raikhy, is also contracted to Leicester City but has not yet made his Premier League debut.

Choudhury’s allegiance switch represents a significant boost for Bangladesh, who also had veteran Denmark-born midfielder Jamal Bhuyan as their star diaspora player, as they seek to emerge out of the shadows of India within the South Asian footballing scene. Choudhury’s presence would be vital for Bangladesh as they will embark on their 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifying campaign on March of next year, taking on India, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
