Personally could never leave this great city that we meet at the clock tower for. Best of luck nonetheless. Northumberland is a beautiful place.

When was the last time you went to the clock tower? These days the only people meeting there are god squad preachers or Muslims handing out the Quran.

So my lad and me cancelled our ST'S last week....We have seen the Premier league win.Doncaster at home for the L1 and all of 2016.....Went to Wembley for the FA cup and saw youri score,Hereford away.Carlisle away in L1....But it's time for our family to move,We are moving up to Northumberland.......but there's no way we are following Newcastle.....LCFC....OR Amble town!.......Anyone else in the same situation?

I understand your conundrum. While personally, I could never support another club other than our own, it might be an idea to visit a few of the many established non league clubs in the area where, who knows, over time, you may build up some sort of affiliation with one of them.

Better than a football free life!

Best of luck.

Imo Northumberland is a totally underrated part of England,  its lovely.

Daughters up at Newcastle Uni , so we take the dog up for some truly lovely walks , on that coast , when we visit her.

If I won a decent wedge, I'd buy a place in Tynemouth 😍

I had to give up my season ticket in 2017 due to family and work. I go to Ilkeston town fairly regularly, leave home at 2:30 and home about 5.

Each to their own when we lived in KL and Houston kept mine and travelled regularly. Still live some way from Leicester and go most games. If you are not going to use it releasing to someone who will us good.

Have fun with it! It´s definitely different from following your beloved club, but in some ways it´s better, it´s less stressful as you´re not emotionally invested so you get to just hopefully enjoy it for what it is :)

I drive 3 hours each leg for my ST. Not having a go or anything, but it’s possible! Did you consider keeping them? Perhaps not going to all games, but there’s a tipping point where I think it’s still worth it. Plus the resale platform is quite useful as well.

To be honest i did think about keeping them, but i'm in my 50's now,my lad isn't really into football...and basically done it and(not) got the t shirt....L1,Championship,ZDS semi final....Still drying off from that! And the 2015/16......But ultimately just lost interest and not in LCFC, just football in generall......must be an age thing!

It's bloody cold though and if you put a foot in the sea you get hyperthermia and it drops off! Kippers are good.

Harry Potter lives in Alnwick Castle and Brendan Rodgers still works there part time as a Dementor so please be wary of that as he could suck the joy and optimism out of you all over again!

Fair enough. There are also other means of watching us these days!

My daughter is 4 and in the next few years I will try and lay the indoctrination on thick!

Mrs and me moved to Cromer 4 years ago, kept our season tickets on as have family in Leicester, so bit different to you. Although a wet, cold Tuesday night match really makes you think if the 6.5 hr round trip is worth it sometimes 🤣

I'd love to be able to have a season ticket. But, the £600+ give or take flight is extremely cost prohibitive.

Props to the guy who did it from houston. By any chance are you rich? Spare some cash??  Lol
