Changes at half-time:

- Pushed Ricardo forwards because Millwall were playing a back 5. So he wants a superiority against their defensive block, hence making it 6 v 5. This is why we blew them away so quickly.

- Changed the 8's round because Millwall brought on a sub because one of their players got booked, and they change the preferred foot of their outside CB's in the defensive 3.

- Changed the pressing trigger to target the players booked, so they were more likely to give the ball away. Means they have to more rash in their passing, meaning we win the ball more often.

Will write-up more later, but those changes murdered them.

Are you Enzo, or one of his assistants, explained perfectly cheers

First time my Mrs has seen us win since January 2002 in the FA Cup against Mansfield at Filbert Street.

Granted she's only been to about 20 matches in that time but still I was convinced she was a curse.

Why did you bloody bring her and take that risk! :protest:

Desperate to break the curse!

Her only other match this season was 0-1 against Hull!

Previously seen us lose to Millwall, lose to Preston, draw with Scunthorpe, lose to Blackpool amongst many low lights.

Gonna go against the grain here and say Millwall set up quite well. They actually put a few decent passages together and got at us when they could - plus a well-taken early goal. Our quality got us over the line, albeit largely thanks to two truly Championship standard scuffs of goals to get to 2-1. lol

That goal at the end was shite to concede though. I can absolutely see why they've been knocking on the door of the playoffs in recent years though - I imagine everyone underestimated them like we did tonight for the first 45 and last 10.

They had set up well before half time yes, but had absolutely no answer to Enzo’s half time tweak and did nothing to change the game when they went behind. They only burst into any kind of press once they pulled it back to 3-2. Negative from start to finish.

Disappointing to concede 2 to them but the 3 points is the most important factor, at the end of the day.

Did anyone have any issues with the Millwall lot? We were sitting outside Nine Bar when a group of them ran over and started punching and attacking people. Fortunately, I was sat directly in front of one of the pillars but the two blokes either side of me got a right wack.

It was odd because Nine bar is well away from town and 90% of the people in there were middle aged folks (like me). Definitely no one looking for a fight.

I'm always quite happy to hear Nine Bar is still going, I remember it opening and quite enjoying a few drinks there in 97-98.

Millwall are a bunch of animals. I went to the Millwall v Bochum pre season 'friendly' a few years back with some UFS and Bochum lads. Millwall had scouts out in central London looking for us, tried to ambush us in Borough Market, luckily the police were waiting for them and got us into a pub for our safety. There was trouble at the ground, then they were waiting for us at London Bridge on the way back. Again the police were there to stop any trouble. Millwall are a bunch of pricks, hope they get relegated right out of the EFL.

kinda crap first half but went up the gears in the second

Millwall were lucky to still have 11 players imo, some of the tackles could have easily been a red, also Keith Stroud should **** off back to the shire

and not all the millwall fans are knobs, just the minority

They’re always at London Bridge. They go there to show up in the knowledge that they’ll never be able to get invoked in anything because the police are always there too. Last time we stood there just laughing at them, I reckon they had one pube between the lot of them.
