Ben Moore - Ipswich fan who died

@MJDLCFCOne of our fans tragically died of Leukaemia today aged just 22 - his name was Ben Moore and was very active at the club.  One of your fans has been mocking his death on social media.  Many of us have reported him to the club and police. Personally I see this as no different to the Bradley Lowery incident and doesn't look good on the club or decent fans.

I gather from his posts he is already banned but hopefully most fans do not think this is acceptable.

I am 100% sure he is a unique person but he isn't letting up. I have his name and where he lives and reported it but so sad that anyone mocks a death.  Football is great and we all love banter but some lines should not be crossed

99% of football fans are decent and whilst we have rivalries, come together when times are tough for fellow supporters. So sorry that one of our 1% lets the majority of us down. Maybe both sets of fans can do a minute applause after 22 minutes on the return fixture to show our solidarity.

All I can add is that this scumbag is in no way representative of our club or fanbase. I hope that firm punitive action results and that some comfort can be taken from a more appropriate response as a result of you bringing this to our attention

Hi @Lizzybee . Thank you  for bringing this to our attention . Unfortunatly , like every club , we seem to have a section of pond life that seem to tarnish our club. Please don't let this moron give you the impression that this is indicative of all foxes fans.

So sorry about this. I have no idea who he is, but concur that the majority of our fan base are decent people. There’s always a few idiots at every club. If you haven’t already, contact the club with these screens. Perhaps he needs a bit of a timed ban from the footy. [email protected]

He’s not the sharpest, already landed himself in hot water earlier in the year and didn’t change the handle after people knew who he was.
