Lizzibee Posted 28 December 2023 Posted 28 December 2023 (edited) Sorry for jumping on this forum, and good luck for the season, you'll smash the league,k rightly so. @MJDLCFCOne of our fans tragically died of Leukaemia today aged just 22 - his name was Ben Moore and was very active at the club. One of your fans has been mocking his death on social media. Many of us have reported him to the club and police. Personally I see this as no different to the Bradley Lowery incident and doesn't look good on the club or decent fans. I gather from his posts he is already banned but hopefully most fans do not think this is acceptable. Edited 28 December 2023 by Lizzibee 21
Popular Post Sly Posted 28 December 2023 Popular Post Posted 28 December 2023 Sorry to hear the news. Shocking and totally not called for by that person. Unfortunately our club, like every other has pond life that still belongs in the swamp. 7

I have his name and where he lives and reported it but so sad that anyone mocks a death. Football is great and we all love banter but some lines should not be crossed
oz was my hero Posted 28 December 2023 Posted 28 December 2023 Absolute scumbag, hope he has a visit from some other boys in blue. 3

Popular Post MGLCFC Posted 28 December 2023 Popular Post Posted 28 December 2023 (edited) 99% of football fans are decent and whilst we have rivalries, come together when times are tough for fellow supporters. So sorry that one of our 1% lets the majority of us down. Maybe both sets of fans can do a minute applause after 22 minutes on the return fixture to show our solidarity. willie-bell-in-rothley Posted 28 December 2023 Posted 28 December 2023 (edited) Sorry to hear of the loss of a young man and fellow football fan, i hope the low life marauding as a Leicester City fan gets named and shamed by our club, utter scum Edited 28 December 2023 by willie-bell-in-rothley spelling 1

bovril Posted 28 December 2023 Posted 28 December 2023 Just some idiot kid probably, getting a rush from being scummy online. RIP to Ben. My thoughts are with his family, must be an awful time for them. 4

goody2028 Posted 28 December 2023 Posted 28 December 2023 He’s always been a wind up merchant on Twitter, that lad. Absolute moron.
Mike Oxlong Posted 28 December 2023 Posted 28 December 2023 Sorry that Ben’s family and those that knew him have had to experience this at an incredibly difficult time All I can add is that this scumbag is in no way representative of our club or fanbase. I hope that firm punitive action results and that some comfort can be taken from a more appropriate response as a result of you bringing this to our attention 2

Unfortunately, Leicester twitter has accumulated a lot of keyboard warriors over the past couple of seasons. I’m sorry you had to see this, they are not part of our fan base & will never ever will be. 2
Popular Post Lizzibee Posted 28 December 2023 Author Popular Post Posted 28 December 2023 I can't make the Leicester away game (thanks Sky) but if anyone your end can organise a 22 min clap for Ben I can have words this end 5
jonthefox Posted 28 December 2023 Posted 28 December 2023 Hi @Lizzybee . Thank you for bringing this to our attention . Unfortunatly , like every club , we seem to have a section of pond life that seem to tarnish our club. Please don't let this moron give you the impression that this is indicative of all foxes fans. The 22nd minute applause is a great idea btw. 4

I have no idea who he is, but concur that the majority of our fan base are decent people. There’s always a few idiots at every club. If you haven’t already, contact the club with these screens. Perhaps he needs a bit of a timed ban from the footy. [email protected] I can only assume that given the lengths you’ve gone to that Ben was a member of your family or a friend, so I’m awfully sorry for your loss.
Thefox81 Posted 28 December 2023 Posted 28 December 2023 So sorry for your loss. Its not representative of 99% of our fans. Hope he gets a 6 o clock knock. Agree with the applause on 22mins in the return fixture. Behind club colours and rivalries we are a football family. RIP Ben and thoughts go out to his family 1

Foxmeister Posted 28 December 2023 Posted 28 December 2023 The police will need a complaint before they act if anyone wants to do the honours. There needs to be consequences for this sort of cowardice. 2
Stadt Posted 28 December 2023 Posted 28 December 2023 He’s not the sharpest, already landed himself in hot water earlier in the year and didn’t change the handle after people knew who he was. To do this is very, very daft.
