AKCJ Posted 24 January 2024 Posted 24 January 2024 Is he actually match fit right now? I know he's been on the bench for Inter for this tournament they've been a part of but when was the last time he actually played a game?
Popular Post Newby112 Posted 24 January 2024 Popular Post Posted 24 January 2024 He is class (when fit), I've got a good feeling about this transfer. 5

Very much doubt he will be coming and starting for us straight away, has only played 65 minutes this season even though he has been available for the majority of games Last appearance was 37 minutes off the bench in the cup on 20th December Hopefully on the bench on Saturday and can get 30-45 minutes Edited 24 January 2024 by moore_94 1 1

Usually the transfers we have reservations about turn out great. The ones we hype up usually flop haha. Feel he will bring that quality to make the difference

Agreed, on the face of it he looks like a tremendous signing at the peak of his abilities. What I don't subscribe to is this nonsense about injuries, I've seen many an 'injury prone' player go on to play many games over many seasons, I think we are just a bit nervous as a fan base given our terrible track record when it comes to injuries. 1

fox_favourite Posted 24 January 2024 Posted 24 January 2024 Seems like a winks type of player. But if he's good in the 8 position, with free kicks, I think that'll be a good signing. Fingers crossed he isn't another Praet
BKLFox Posted 24 January 2024 Posted 24 January 2024 Hopefully we will now have someone to spot Cannon’s runs 1
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 24 January 2024 Posted 24 January 2024 All hinges on him staying fit really doesn't it. If he can do that it's a great signing, if not it's another long expensive contract. 1

He'd put his hand in his pocket and sort it out as he done before. Top sadly doesn't have that power and probably doesn't have that kind of money to through around. But we should be able to find 2 million for this lad jf we get rid of the rubbish quickly. I doubt there's much Financial mismanagement where Susan is concerned. The mistake was backing a Manager who clearly was a poor judge of Talent and was allowed to make poor signings. That's probably down to Top or Rudkin I'd say.
Ric Flair Posted 24 January 2024 Author Posted 24 January 2024 If he somehow stays fit, this is an extraordinary signing. His technical ability is light years ahead of anything we currently possess.
