When was the last time a driver made his f1 debut in a Ferrari?

Must be going back decades!

Bearman is highly rated so it’ll be interesting to see how he does.

Sainz needs surgery for appendicitis and out of the GP this weekend.

Bearman in!

Pleased for Ollie, he was great in F2 last season.

Hamilton just so disinterested and downhearted it seems at the moment.

Sulking and moping isn't a good look. He's not a young driver making his way up any more and has a decent car to drive.

It’s the first time in this era I’m genuinely watching and thinking ‘well, at the moment George is just doing a better job’.

Theres no excuses now. Hes just being out driven.

In fairness I don't think Hamilton has been moaning that much really.  He's been pretty chilled whenever I've listened to him.  He just sounds checked out with Mercedes.

He knows he's gone at the end of the year and Mercedes are all-in on GR now.

He knows the car they have this year won't even be able to match what he achieved last year so it looks as if he's going through the motions right now.  We'll see if things pick up as the season goes on but he hasn't turned up yet that's for sure.

OR we really are seeing the very sudden decline which would also be understandable considering he'll be 40 this year

Personally I hope that's not the case as I wouldn't like to see another Michael Schumacher situation when he was well beaten by Rosberg 3 years on the bounce.

Maybe we'll look back at 2023 and say that was his Mourinho at Manchester United moment when he dragged himself to 3rd in the standings below Red Bull when the car really had no business being placed that high.  Maybe that could/should have been the end.

Verstappen will beat Hamiltons number of wins within 2 and a half years. Certainly has no excuse to not have 70 something by the end of this season anyway lol

Proper mess in Red Bull isn’t it?

First reports in Jeddah now are that Marko has been instructed by Red Bull head office not to talk to the media. Talking openly to the media now can be seen as undermining authority. Red Bull is also said to have previously started an internal investigation into the origin of the 'leak'.

But it is a touch depressing that the main drama about F1 is off the track issues rather than anything related to racing.

Yes - this is definitely the most pressure Red Bull will come under this season.

Outstanding from Bearman, he has a big future in the sport for sure. To beat Norris and Hamilton in his first race having missed fp1 and fp2 is an incredible result.

Probably the only place he's getting a challenge

He won a race in the rain. When he’s away on f1 duty he races on a laptop with a gamepad style controller.

Leclerc able to get fastest lap on hard tyres that had done how many laps?

A quicker lap than both Lewis and Lando on fresh softs.

Tyres should not be THAT durable.
