I’m really not. I just can’t figure out any statistical or logical reason for the irrational amount of sh*t he gets from our supporters compared to others on the squad who ACTUALLY continue to stink up the pitch. We were spoiled by prime Vardy. We likely won’t see a player like him at his peak in an Leicester shirt again in our lifetimes.

Daka will never be Vardy. But he’s not trash. He’s the best striker currently in our first team. Show me stats that say otherwise. He certainly doesn’t deserve the slagging he gets on here week in and week out, while he scores goals, assists, and does all the little things that make players around him better. Does he miss sometimes? Sure. If he didn’t, he’d be playing in the Prem for a top 6 club!

I would encourage the Daka haters to come off FT and check out other footballing social media. There are plenty of supporters of other clubs that would love to have him.

Basically, he’s not peak Vardy or Harry Kane, but he’s more than serviceable in the Championship and he’s helped win us a few games. He’s nowhere near as bad as some would like him to be, no matter how many times you say it.

He really is as bad as everyone says he is.

The biggest issue with this club is recruitment. its so so poor. Players like Daka are the reason we are in such a mess. Awful player, on a long contract, on massive money. Repeat throughout the team.

I like him as a person, as a footballer he's woeful. Don't even want him in the championship next season, sell him for what he's worth and cash in

I'm sure he's a lovely lad who is trying his best but ****ing hell it's painfully bad watching him. He offers absolutely nothing.

We’ve genuinely got better on the academy. Even at under 10 level.

When you watch the ball stick to Monga's feet on friday, and he dances around defenders for fun, it really makes you appreciate watching the ball constantly bounce off Daka. He has no skill at all.

That snap shot when the ball fell to him. Snatched at it so badly. Even if the block didn’t happen it would’ve trickled to Onana. His attempt at the far post was also laughable. I can’t understand it. Is he smiling and joking around too much and enjoy the hefty wage. This is a guy who was linked with Klopps Liverpool before signing for us. Michael Edward’s gets very few wrong. Utterly disappointing signing.

He’s on 70 bags a week, he’s going knowhere! He will leave on a free in 2026, as painful as that is

Same as the other ones. None of them will "go"; they'll see the ends of their contracts with the club and enjoy their early retirements; well, at least those whose intellectual development wasn''t capped at 16 y.o., like many of these lads. I bet some of them can't work out a simple equation.

I refuse to believe this man is a professional footballer.  Awful, at every level.  If he played for someone else you would be really pleased cos he gives you such a laugh.  Genuinely,

how on earth did he get to become a professional footballer.  Who on earth scouted him?  We paid 30 million for that...........Think about that.

Finally, I thought maybe he might become a footballer. He offered more effort yesterday than at anytime since he's been here.

I thought he was fouled when he made the run through the middle and was tripped. He also had no look either when he did hit a decent shot it struck the Utd player.

We might get a good season out of him in the championship.

He seems to be almost un-coachable. He is worse now than when he first joined. Reminds me of Akinbiyi when trying to control the ball. Such a shame but exemplifies our terrible scouting in recent years.

To be fair to him he was injured for a large part of it and was never going to displace Vardy when he was scoreing regularly.

Next season will be a new team and a new challenge for him. It's amazing what a few goals can do for confidence.

On his day, levels above any of those individuals.

But yesterday he showcased four years' worth of training at Seagrave in all its glory.

Has that white elephant, which will straitjacket us in debt for years, improved the game of ANY outfield City player privileged enough to use it?

I think it's a massive confidence issue with Daka. He's regressed while being with us. There are glimmers of the previous potential. Thinking the europa hatrick but now he crumbles in the big moments. I imagine its something we have done to him as we have a knack of ruining players with a history or playing well elsewhere. It isn't happening for him here.

How many times when he has been 1:1 in a crucial moment in a game where chances are few and far between does he fluff it. Trip up etc. Nearly always and you just know in training he would bag it everytime.

Tries hard and that is commendable and all we can ask for but we have destroyed his confidence and he isn't good enough for the prem at present sadly.
