FrankieADZ Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 (edited) no just no Brighton & Hove Albion are in negotiations with Leicester City to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. The 25-year-old midfielder has played a key role in his side’s rise to the Championship summit and that has generated interest from a host of clubs. Leicester want around £30million to sanction Dewsbury-Hall’s departure and although that is above Brighton’s valuation, talks are ongoing The Premier League team would like to add the Englishman to head coach Roberto De Zerbi’s squad, but only at a price they deem acceptable. If a compromise is reached and Dewsbury-Hall agrees to the move, it would be yet another impressive acquisition for the south coast team. There has been competition from suitors such as Brentford, however the chance of competing in Europe places Brighton in a stronger position. Among the other admirers of Dewsbury-Hall are Arsenal and Fulham, though Brighton are emerging as the leading contenders at present. Dewsbury-Hall’s Leicester contract runs until 2027. Flannel_Fox Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 Can't see him going this window. Summer however is a possibility despite if we go up or not. 1
moore_94 Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 (edited) Honestly our season is probably over if he goes and we don’t get a top class replacement (better than Sensi / O’Hare) Edited 26 January 2024 by moore_94 1 1
Popular Post Bert Posted 26 January 2024 Popular Post Posted 26 January 2024 We’d be absolutely ridiculous to let him leave at this point in the season. 35
FrankieADZ Posted 26 January 2024 Author Posted 26 January 2024 summer id say, no way we'd let him go now
sdb Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 I could honestly see us bottling top 2 without him and Wilf. In fact I'd actually expect it. £30m is miles off too, but we let Barnes go for an equally ridiculous price... 1
kingpowerout Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 Shit, this has the potential to de-rail things
ithuriel Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 Can't see it, unless Top has decided to cash in it's drivel as far as I'm concerned.
Popular Post leicesterisme Posted 26 January 2024 Popular Post Posted 26 January 2024 Still a club ran by absolute morons if our asking price is actually 30m 8
Ric Flair Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 So the story of us needing to sell a high value asset seems to be getting more and more true. 2 4
sdb Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 Just now, FrankieADZ said: summer id say, no way we'd let him go now But it says European footy is a factor... And I've just seen that we *want* £30m. I rushed reading it and assumed that was their opening bid. We're ****ed 1
Bert Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 Ornstein is really credible. But surely we aren’t that daft? Especially with Wilf out. We’d then need two top quality replacements within days. 2
whoareyaaa Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 Just now, Dr The Singh said: 30mill is 30mill is it ? 1
jonny_wright Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 Absolute suicide this, risking everything for £30m now…. Lost for words
Tuna Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 Sell him and get used to the annual trip to Preston, we will be ****ed 2
kingpowerout Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 Ornstein isn’t click bait there will be 100% something in this
whoareyaaa Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 if we have any ambition of being a club looking to enter Europe again then KDH is player we need to keep hold of.
DZ-LCFC Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 bro he will be arround 80m next season. don't do it rudkin 2
Md9 Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 Well this is going to be a horrible transfer window isn’t it
Happy Fox Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 There is no smoke without fire, but if he goes to Brighton I would want us to invest heavily in signings of real quality. 2
