O’Hare, Sensi and a loan player from Brighton might offset things, see if we can get Hackney from Boro, but this is a real potential season derailer. Last year KP gambled losing 100m in TV monies so as not to pay Rodgers 10m. In the end we did both! I seriously doubt Brighton have suddenly declared there interest in the player might be fairly close to being done and our players we are getting in as a replacement will be in soon. It would be a real shame to lose KDH but that’s the reality of a being a championship club, we are not going to stand in the way, provided we get the fee we want. I don't think he's even a £30mill player, but understand why we'd want that and also acknowledge that he's a very important player in our promotion bid, but Christ some of you talk as though he's a clone of Messi. Brighton are generally excellent with their signings, so they aren't going to cough up £30mill for him. They'll sign 3 players for that and flog them off for 3x the price a year or two down the line. They are probably trying to see how desperate we are and whether he’s well up for a move or not. Take 30M now and severely weaken our chance of getting promoted Or get promoted and have a 100M TV income boost. From an FFP perspective there's a huge advantage in not selling.
