Looked very comfortable on the ball, wanted to make things happen and didn’t shy away. With our struggles in midfield, I’d definitely look to include him in the squad again.

Interesting. The Mercury was saying how Maresca wanted some physical presence in midfield now Casadei is gone and Ndidi is injured, and he tried out two of our bigger young lads, Cover and Raikhy.

Everytime ive seen him in the U21s hes looked good technically, just his lack of mobility has let him down. Hopefully he can kick on from this

Augurs well for our future, to have so many promising young players in the setup - Cover, Nelson, McAteer, Alves, and Raikhy. Hopefully they can be the next Barnes/Chilwell/KDH examples.
