Maybe but over last few games him and bilal seem like the only ones at least trying!

Him and Bilal were the only players showing some heart and desire. Granted he's not great defensively, but that can be said of the majority of our team.

I respectfully disagree. I think one of the main reasons we are conceding so many goals is because it is far too easy for opponents to play through our midfield. Soumare and Winks offer next to no resistance.

We see what we want to see.  I'm sure I've missed numerous times he's not tracked back or been lazy over the last few games.  But I've also seen numerous times he's busted a gut and covered for our p1ss poor defence.  

 

Thought he was majestic at times today and, more importantly, brave in a team that's been going out with a whimper.

He was always a player that was likely to get better with a consistent run of games. He’s clearly a beast, he’s just braindead so much of the time and squanders his ability.

 

Problem was he was so bad whenever he got a chance that it was hard to justify keeping him in. But I think he’s starting to look established. If we can stay up we might have a player there.

Bar one silly mistake, that was his best game by a mile. Did absolutely everything. His link up with BDR in that 15 min spell was amazing. Both of them possessed

Another great performance. Turning into a solid all round player. Much better running with the ball than doing Winks job. Gave a few balls away, towards the end.

Great game again today. We need him to continue playing like that. I love the way that when the going gets tough he just digs in and steps up a level.

I think we need to persist with him because he can do that. None of our other CMs could dream of doing that.

Look he still has an absolute clanger in him but he is definitely getting better. We all know his limitations but I’m just glad he’s doing okay

Ruud getting a tune out of him more regularly and barring just the odd game like other managers. 

 

Reads the game much better and seems to be more impactful in his involvements in the midfield. Finding himself in more areas to get forward as well and help create goals.
