I think Derby's loss against Boro on the Saturday wrapped it up. We beat Sheffield Wednesday in the Friday game and were confirmed promoted with 6 games to spare. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013–14_Leicester_City_F.C._season#


We promptly celebrated a lot, then got beat 4-1 by Brighton 3 days later.

I had £10 at 100/1 to go unbeaten from Jan to end of season, that 4-1 let me down

I just hope that if we do it this year we do it whilst playing. 13/14 Promotion and the Prem win both done when not playing, so much better when that whistle blows and it's confirmed.

At least it encouraged Pearson to buy Ulloa in the close season who was instrumental, along with his fellow countryman Cambiasso in ensuring the Great Escape 2015! How we could've done with that same Argentinian duo last season!!

The point I believe is we have more points than Derby in 3rd did at the end of that season, so if we had this tally now, we have enough to have secured 2nd in that season.
