I think Derby's loss against Boro on the Saturday wrapped it up. We beat Sheffield Wednesday in the Friday game and were confirmed promoted with 6 games to spare. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013–14_Leicester_City_F.C._season#

We promptly celebrated a lot, then got beat 4-1 by Brighton 3 days later.

I had £10 at 100/1 to go unbeaten from Jan to end of season, that 4-1 let me down

Yeah that team was better. Suspected so.

Maybe not much better. After 40 games we had 89 points, so this current team is only four points behind with a game in hand.

Would have beaten Derby's total in 3rd, which is all you need to do.

Yep, pretty sure it was Brett Pitman who scored the winning goal that confirmed our promotion as well

Our current points total and goal difference would be enough to get promoted that season.

There's a season from four years I think where we'd be Champions by now lol

I just hope that if we do it this year we do it whilst playing. 13/14 Promotion and the Prem win both done when not playing, so much better when that whistle blows and it's confirmed.

FA Cup in a half empty Wembley wasn't perfect either.

Not even close Burnley 93pts

Us 102pts

The point I believe is we have more points than Derby in 3rd did at the end of that season, so if we had this tally now, we have enough to have secured 2nd in that season.
