Most we've been ahead of 2nd is:

 

12pts after beating Sheff Weds (13th Feb) 

11pts after beating Watford (10th Feb) and Stoke (3rd Feb) 

10pts after Swansea (30th Jan) 

 

It was 10 pts as well on NYD after beating Huddersfield.

It is. If they lose tonight and Birmingham win tomorrow, they may need a win away at Coventry next week to avoid being relegated. I'm sure they'd much prefer to get it done tonight. It's a massive game for them.
