Pitch invasions!

With all the pitch invasions going on lately. How come other teams get away with it but we get threatened with massive fines, lifetime bans and if I remember correctly even s possible points deduction in the season we won the league. Can't get my head around it.

I think all fans get waned about all of this as well.

 

We’ve been a bit unlucky in that it’s never really fell for us to do it in the last few decades. Only one I remember in my 30-odd years of following Leicester was after the last game at Filbert Street.

They all get the same warning. Having said that, we are probably the only club that would actually ban 20,000 in a pitch invasion.

We’re a really weird club with stuff like this, seem to be obsessed with preventing anything like this happening. 
 

Spent money hiring extra security for the Blackburn game when the chance of one happening was really low.

Because the amount of friends / family the club bring on the pitch at the last game, there would be no room for anyone else.

The only teams that don’t pitch invade are tourist clubs (Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal etc) or family clubs like ourselves. Anyone who is against pitch invasions is probably also pro VAR.

Did you see how many stewards and police were on the pitch side and around the players entrance  for the Blackburn game,  if an invasion would have been attempted it would have been a mass brawl.

I also think all of our biggest moments that have warranted a pitch invasion have come with us not playing (Champ ‘14, Prem ‘16 and Champ ‘24) or playing at Wembley.
