That's a big thumbs up to Cifuentes.  A few days with Coady and he's (at the very least) sanctioned him fvcking off.

 

I'd like to think he was banging Rudkin's door down to get this over the line.

More like Coady was. The unbearable little herbert has wanted out the entire time he was gobbing off about how standards haven't been good enough and our players needed to be more accountable. 

 

An absolutely abysmal piece of business from us two years ago. Fingers crossed it happens. Was told it was all but done a day or so ago but you know what we're like.

Truly woeful bit of business.  

 

That said, he has a point about players and accountability.  I wonder if he has enough self awareness to include himself in that, I doubt it.

People were panicking coz Marti made Coady captain for a pre-season friendly and less than a week later, he's off. 

 

I keep saying Marti won't suffer wank players like Cooper and RvN did. They either shape up or shit off. 

 

One down, plenty more to go - but an excellent start.

I know he's someway off, but Souttar we be like a new signing when he eventually returns.

 

A close friend is a Sheff Utd season ticket holder who travels home and away and said Souttar was exceptional for them. Heard the same from a Stoke supporting family member prior to us signing him. 

 

Jury is out on whether he is PL standard, but there's no denying he's a top class Championship defender.

I thought Souttar was pretty decent the back end of 2022/2023 - He was brilliant at Brentford and Newcastle away for instance. 

 

I'd be far happier having him than Coady, Vestergaard or Faes

He's one of those pompous twats that shouts about results as opposed to actions.

 

Constantly spewing cliches like "We have to take a look in the mirror and realise we we've not been good enough". 

 

You've not been good enough because there are no standards for poor attitude at the club. Nobody at the club ever seems to call out poor behaviour. Only Ruud has done this with the Winks stuff and the dressing room turned their noses up at it. 

 

There needs to be a reset of the way Leicester City players behave. It should have happened years ago but it's important that it happens immediately with a genuinely top class generation of footballers coming through the academy. 

 

When we were flying at the top end of the Premier League we had a squad full of captains. There's not really anyone in the squad i'd be completely happy with captaining us these days. Ricardo is the only one, really but he's injury prone.
