I've been told he's definitely off and it ought to be done quite quickly.

I hope your source is right, mate. However, Leicester City and 'done quite quickly' are two concepts that don't usually go together.

We would still have Okoli, Nelson, Vestergaard, Faes, Souttar and Aluko which is frankly still too many.

Agree (although I see Aluko as a full back), but I'd happily still see Vestergaard and Faes move on, and we bring in 1 replacement (Chris Mepham would be sensible, Matthew Pollock would be the dream)

Wrexham make bid for Leicester's Coady

Latest from Sky Sports News' Anthony Joseph:

Wrexham have made a £2m bid for Leicester centre-back Conor Coady.

It’s understood the 32-year-old would be open to exploring a move to the Championship club, if a deal can be agreed.

Sky Sports News revealed last month that Rangers had made an approach for the England international.

Coady has one year left on his Leicester contract.

Rudkin just got back from his holiday and picked up his messages?

The most "makes sense" signing of the summer for anyone tbf.

Guy cares more about his media career than playing football. Him and Wrexham are such an obvious fit.

plus they play a back 3 and he has a natural fit in the middle of it

I made peace with keeping him as I thought there would be no interest given his wages and the level we’re at being fine for him.

Hopefully Nelson and Okoli can push on and take the opportunity presented to them now - I just hope the powers that be don’t think we need to replace him with another ‘leader’.

i don’t like the bloke as a footballer but find it odd how many dislike him because he has an interest in broadcasting etc.

I don’t care about that stuff at all, he just is pony at football and was as horrific as i expected him to be when we signed him.

genuinely believe he was carried at wolves and has never been decent. but fair play to him because he’s got a decent reputation for someone who’s never been prem standard
