I actually think he probably would’ve been a better option for us in the Prem - will be a lot more space for him to work in rather than playing against a back 10

 

Hopefully we should be able to find better though for the £7-8m of whatever it was he would’ve cost

Good. I like him, he had a great attitude and wasn't a bad player. I just don't think he was suited to our system.

Good player with a great attitude. 
 

My understanding was that he signed as a winger, but he seemed more of a central attacking mid. A touch of James Maddison.

 

His ability to skip round defenders like they were not there was excellent.

Probably will be another Kramaric situation. 
 

You can see the potential and flashes of brilliance, but someone that’s just not going to fit in at an English club.

I think the complete opposite. For £7-8m, getting a player who can cover several different positions is a great deal, in this day and age. Would feel completely different if I actually trusted out recruitment to find some bargains again. But, I totally understand why they haven't made either permanent if he's going to be ok the periphery again.

It’s a move that benefited all parties I think. He contributed for us positively at times, and has probably developed his game. Good attitude, wish him all the best!

Probably needed a run of games to see what he really had. Was a bit hit and miss. Assist for Mav v brum was huge

Never really trusted with a run of games in his natural position. Not a criticism of Enzo, It's just how things panned out. Mav and Fatawu were pretty much un-droppable. 

 

Can see him going on to make a good career for himself and hopefully our paths cross again in European competition.

Watched him in that Coppenhagen Champions League quali just before we signed him and thought he was going to be our main man last season.

Definitely got a big future ahead of him, wouldn't be surprised to see him get his chance at Gala now

his last two games as a sub he looked livelier than the starters.  I really hope he finds a place where he can be a regular starter.

Don't reckon they would have been obscene. Think we've probably just decided that there's better places to spend our money.

Just don't think he's what Enzo quite wanted out of a winger really and whilst he did OK filling in as a CM in a bind it definitely isn't his natural position and I don't think he has the athleticism to do that in the Prem. 

 

People acting like the money is a bargain, it's more than we paid for Mavididi who had a lot more impact and is much more cut out for the Prem.
