Just looked at his injury record and didn’t realize it was actually that bad, he’s missed 83 games in the last 3 season

It’s pretty ridiculous isn’t it. His body just isn’t going to be able to cope with being a premier league footballer by the looks of it. Chelsea could rest him for a year to see if it helps with the 7 million players they have to cover him

I haven't missed how big club focused this leagues is, a section on the BBC website talking about building up to the new season and potential transfers. At a count there are currently, 3 segments on man city, 3 on man united, 2 on Chelsea, and 2 on Liverpool, a little mention of Arsenal winning and not much else. Don't get me wrong I know it's Monday morning, but are we saying that none of the other 14 teams in the prem have nothing worth reporting on from over the weekend or heading into the start of the season?

Yeah, it's huge. It's basically Manchester, Liverpool and then pick 2 of the London teams. 

 

I wasn't a big follower of the EPL when we were out of it and it seems to have gotten once. Genuinely ok with us going back down to being a championship team.

Hard to take seriously after this.

 

Steve Cooper is very different to Maresca and it will be interesting to see how quickly the players adapt but the squad have quickly taken to his methods and enjoyed a positive pre-season.
