We could do with Gallagher, Chilwell and Lukaku now.  Maybe they could offset the costs for a couple of years when they take Fatawu, Mads and Alves.

Southampton and Ipswich are at least trying to recruit. We've signed a backup wide player, a Chelsea youth teamer and an overpriced centre half that we've been ridiculed for. Can't wait for us to get pummeled every game this season

Mmm, if so why were we prepared to stump up around €30m for Soule? Either we have that sort of money to spend or we don't?

We were after Soule for £30mill, and we didn't buy him, so surely that's still in the kitty.

I just don't think we were ever really serious about Soule.  We're not spending 25-30M on one player.  A player worth that much won't come to us anyway.

Sell Mavididi and Winks but make sure Choudhury gets another two years, then we can recruit.

Yeah but why go for him when we can get 30 something Jordan Ayew, who scores about 4 goals a season.
