Teams that are going to dominate games need something different from their centre backs. Faes is pretty good on the ball, aggressive and moderately mobile. It won't bother Barca that he has the odd brain fart because they'll trust the team to recover, as Man City do when Akanji does something daft.

Personally I’d look at it as what value do you place on a guy who’s just had a poor season in the Championship.

He had a poor patch but otherwise was pretty darn good.

Just because he's starting for an international team doesn't mean that he's actually any good, in Belgium's case it's more likely that they just haven't got anyone better!

Personally I would play faes as a midfielder in my eyes he ain't no centre back he's a complete brain fart, but he is quite good on the ball and has a nice passing range
