Molson Canadian Posted 24 June 2024 Posted 24 June 2024 They don't have a big transfer budget for this upcoming season. In total the fee we paid for him is reported at 17 million euros. Can we sell him for more than 20?

Vestergaard was terrible for us on the back foot in the Prem but when we were dominant in our games in the Championship, he was exactly what we needed. Teams that are going to dominate games need something different from their centre backs. Faes is pretty good on the ball, aggressive and moderately mobile. It won't bother Barca that he has the odd brain fart because they'll trust the team to recover, as Man City do when Akanji does something daft. This

Ed 1 Posted 25 June 2024 Posted 25 June 2024 If we can get our money back for him it’ll be daylight robbery from us. Nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. 2
mazarron fox Posted 25 June 2024 Posted 25 June 2024 Some on here don’t like him but what value do you put on a starting center back in a top 6 Euros national team?

Sly Posted 27 June 2024 Posted 27 June 2024 In a team that dominates the ball from a possession basis, he won’t be that bad. He won’t be the roar signing they’ll have ever made and I could see why they’d look at him.

He had a poor patch but otherwise was pretty darn good. enough warning signs to worry that he won’t be good enough for the prem but far from a poor season.
jayfox26 Posted 27 June 2024 Posted 27 June 2024 It's like the media are just trolling Barce now. Let's link them with a car crash player that nobody would want, and then to make it even more hilarious, they actually can't even afford him. Pure banter club now Barce

Steve Earle Posted 27 June 2024 Posted 27 June 2024 Could they improve their offer to €50m and take KDH & Daka too?

Just because he's starting for an international team doesn't mean that he's actually any good, in Belgium's case it's more likely that they just haven't got anyone better! Ward plays for his international team, what value would you put on him?

nick6666 Posted 27 June 2024 Posted 27 June 2024 Personally I would play faes as a midfielder in my eyes he ain't no centre back he's a complete brain fart, but he is quite good on the ball and has a nice passing range But hey what do I know 2
