If Sporting sell Gyokeres then they will have money to burn and European football to offer him. He is the perfect replacement for them. I hope we have a plan b, c, d and e.

Ipswich will likely go back in for him now Broja talks broken down

You mean the part about having to buy him for 30m if they stay up and he could turn out to be terrible?

Kind of makes Rudkin look ever so slightly better.

Break the f*****g bank for the man.

After watching 20 mins of Ayew I don’t care if it bankrupts us, we deserve it.

Ok, Mr Rudkin!

I honestly wouldn't even waste money on a feeble attempt at staying up this season. Just take the points deduction go down and try to rebuild from there hopefully with different people behind the scenes

If only Jon Rudkin showed half that desire to get anything done….

One can dream!

You mean sign someone that would bankrupt the club? Didn’t we just get in trouble for trying to do that?

I'm a little concerned that it's not the potential incoming personnel that can make the difference, more can Cooper coach players adequately to perform at this level. We had the same situation two seasons ago with quality players, but a manager who couldn't turn things around (maybe by choice). Whilst it's only 2 games, I'm shocked at our lack of ideas and cohesion. I honestly think playing like this we'd struggle to make the play offs in the Championship.

He’s going to go Ipswich ain’t he!

That would be in keeping with the rest of our window. Ipswich will then loan us George Hirst and Marcus Harness on deadline day.

Doubt it.

They've spend over 100m already and rejected a previous offer.

I doubt he'll want to go to a newly promoted side, regardless of the wage offered.

And why not?  Our entire team rested against Lens.
