Some big games in Asian and South American qualifying today. Very exciting. Hopefully Iraq can get another win under their belts and Iran can deal with Qatar so we don’t have to put up with them at another World Cup.

This Barca side is absurd.

So much talent in it and half of them are 17/18.

And speaking of that...

Lovely from Yamal.

He's one of my favourite players right now.

Ridiculously talented.

Only just realised Osimhen is at Galatasaray on loan. What a waste, he's absolutely quality him. He'd walk into nearly every team in the prem.

Burned his bridges at Napoli with a shit attitude in the transfer window. Other clubs rightfully were wary of that given his huge price tag. Only himself to blame. There's a right way and wrong way of leaving a club.

Yeh had a feeling he probably has disciplinary issues.

In his defence, the prince tag was absurd. Nobody is worth that.

De Laurentiis is a lunatic and always has been. It just tends to work out for him.

Don't think that's particularly fair. Napoli were looking to push him out of the door and put a daft price tag on him. Then they absolutely shit the bed when the Saudi deal didn't come off. Conte replaced him his old buddy Lukaku. Napoli were aggressive in trying to sell him.

Anyway, Serie A is cooking nicely. Napoli are dangerously building a lead, Conte has his no European weeks and they have the system now in situ that he loves. Although they've been fortunate with fixtures to date.

Meanwhile Inter look tired, Juve outside of the 4-4 are too defensive.

The next four of Fiorentina, Lazio, Atalanta and Udinese have all started the season superbly well. Roma are an utter disaster at the moment. Milan, outside of their superb derby win, look very unbalanced. Every chance Lazio & Atalanta challenge into the top four race.

The bottom of the table is wide open - about 8 teams look about the same quality and keep beating each other - a week ago Nesta was going to be sacked by Monza but he's pulled four points out of the bag. Genoa and Venezia appear nailed on for relegation yet they've still claimed some unlikely points. Parma & Como are both really good to watch but can't defend.

Sadly Serie B looks bloody dreary - Sampdoria, Bari, Palermo, Brescia are all treading mid-table water.

Yes they over-priced him. But plenty of players have had that happen and remeined professional about it.

He refused to play for them in trying to engineer a move and force their hand. Essentially going on strike. That never ends well for any player and Napoli doubled down and refused to sell him.
