Goes without saying that if Roma and Juve agree a fee, then he ends up in Rome, and not here.

I think we all know it will be Roma. We rarely win these sort of games. I imagine juventus just what Roma to give them more money. I would imagine it will be Roma and about €30 m

It boils down to whether or not Roma can, or are willing to, stump up with a better offer than ours. Juve will prefer not to sell to a competitor but money talks. There is probably some truth in that the player may well prefer to stay in Italy, rather than move to another new country, culture and language.

it seems rhat  the player is v keen to go to Roma but appreciates that if we pay a fair bit more then he may have to come here 

 

So he isn’t going to come out and say that he has his heart set on Roma and doesn’t fancy the East Midlands (in case he ends up here) 

given that players usually call the tune when push comes to shove you’d expect him to end up staying in Italy.

We do have our own Colosseum to compare with that in Rome (for any interested tourists or historians it’s at 100 Melton Road)
