If you go chasing aging players like Reid and Ayew, offering millions and silly contracts you get what you deserve

Ayew's been one of our best players and the last 2 players that have done their ACL have been under the age of 20!

Hope Fatawu injury isn't too serious. If Ayew is out for a while Cooper lost the man who basically saved his job twice against Ipswich and Southampton. Just hope Vardy is back for next weekend or it's potentially Edouard up front!

These injuries do raise questions about the focus of the last transfer window. The attacking reinforcements were very last minute with a lot of money spent on Skipp and Okoli to bolster the  reasonably strong defensive side when it was clear that a replacement for KDH and another striker or two were needed as a priority . There have been too many games where Vardy and Ayew have played the full 90 minutes and this reliance has been too much IMO given their ages. I don't know what is happening with Edouard he came on after 87 minutes last week all very odd.

Hopefully BDCR is too jet lagged to make the squad

Without meaning to sound like someone who can't move on, it genuinely would've been better keeping Albrighton if he wanted to carry on.

This is where the depth of the squad gets seriously exposed.

Key players missing and several signings barely involved and we are now in a far worse shape, even from a relatively low base.

I’m all for Jeremy monga or Jake Evans taking that place on the bench. This is why we loose are best talent, because it’s never trusted. In a game we are expected to loose,  why not give those 2 a cameo if the injury’s are as bad as reported.

look at it from the players coming through point of view, why hang around if you going to play the likes of BDR who has been nothing short of criminal so far.

Never changes does it? Stolarczyk out for months, Patson out for months, JV's been out for a month at least, Coady's injured already.

Saw this and laughed then realised I posted it lol

Per the Ghana FA, Leicester City attacking pair Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu both sustained an injury for the nation.

Striker Ayew’s looks to be more serious though, with him having to undergo an MRI scan on the injury, which revealed ‘significant issues with his knee’.

The two Ghanaians are now set to return to Leicestershire to undergo their rehabilitation from the untimely injury.

Oh great, just what we wanted 🤦🏻‍♂️

So, to clarify (please correct if wrong):

Vardy - Back issue; could be back for Chelsea?

Daka - Back soon?

Ayew - Set for a potential spell out on the sidelines.

Fatawu - Hopefully, just got a minor niggle.
