Don’t think you are digging at me personally but I would love to know if you are, what argument I haven’t accepted when provided with proof. That is fundamentally the definition of stupidity and I may not be the smartest in the room but I will always believe what the truth reveals. I would be willing to claim I have probably changed my views directly because of this at least at an above average rate and certainly considerably more than what can reasonably be inferred by some posters on here.

I have gone full circle on a number of political and societal issues as an example:

originally believing immigration, particularly illegal is a cancer and now subscribing to a view on immigration that would be left of the likes of James Obrian

I have believed that religion is the biggest plague to society and that belief in God is the stupidest thing you can do to believing in God and realising the folly of not.

I have believed that Labour are the only party that should ever be trusted to run the country to believing they are the same as all the others, liars.

I have believed that climate change is a false flag and will change regardless of what we do to realising that it is a serious issue and will continue to create new challenges in our immediate future and be a significant problem for future generations.

My worldview, particularly with politics is more fickle than the average Leicester fans belief in some of the players.

My post wasn't aimed at you personally, just a generalisation that most people will believe their own view is more correct than someone else's.

The Harris campaign has been the epitome of this. Celebs talking down to people while offering nothing other than “vote for me to save democracy”.

agreed this puts it perfectly

How is this even a competition for who should run the country?

Quite apart from the moral turpitude of thinking a convicted felon and an insurrection inciter to be elected to the highest of offices anyway.

really close judging by the last polls of the campaign

could be 270 for the winner

but because of the margin of error, could be 310 !

I posted a few days ago that I fancied Harris could well come through the chaos and I haven’t changed my mind

Anyone got an IPTV/Kodi provider that does American channels that they can DM me over at all please? I don't mind the low resolution streams, but if an alternative is there I would like to look at it.

Most if not all providers have it. Fox News essential comedy viewing tomorrow

I usually go for the CNN US stream. I used to have one of them Kodi subscriptions that got me loads of channels, but in 4 years the high seas of IPTV and Kodi seem to have got too rough for me to trust any of these random sites or discord channels thst appear if you Google them.

Fox news makes me come out with  a terrible case of vomiting, but I'll give it a shot.

I hope everyone over the other side of the pond has got their handcart/handbasket ready. (Depending on your choice of idiom.)

Presented without comment other than it's interesting to see the degree in importance of various issues varies between the two voter bases. The Repubs certainly seem hyperfocused on a few specific issues more.

I can't wait for all of that election fraud nonsense to start over here.

You need to look into idox and Nadeem tax dodger and postal voting.

Tories knew they won the postal votes even before they were cast.

This is a conspiracy theory.

So a medium of 80% see the economy as the most important.  More important than anything else. Take out the Trump  voters and that’s still about 70% of dems.  That’s a little bit depressing.

Little bit disappointed to hear the Voter ID news - at best it's using a bazooka to shoot a fly (the American way, I guess), at worst it's reasonably blatant voter suppression by the Repubs.

I think I know which one it is.

When will the first results be expected? Tomorrow night UK time?

First returns won’t tell you much. You’ll wake up with a better picture on Wednesday morning.

If you want a good social media follow with no slant, Redistrict on Twitter is a fun read for the rest of the week (Dave Wasserman is his name). He’ll analyze all the returns and consider historical trends…great interpreter of the numbers.
